Acceptable Use Policy
Rust Snowball exists for entertainment play by natural persons. Bots, multi-accounts, collusion, exploit-hunting, chip-dumping, and any pattern of use that treats the Platform as a settlement, transfer, or laundering tool are prohibited and may lead to account closure and forfeiture.
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") is part of your Terms of Service. By using the Platform you agree to this AUP. Breach of any part of this AUP is grounds for the suspension, closure, void, claw-back, and forfeiture remedies in Section 14 of the Terms of Service.
1. The Platform is for natural persons playing for themselves
You must access the Platform as a natural person, on your own behalf, for your own entertainment, using one Account. The Platform is not a custody service, a transfer rail, a remittance network, an exchange, an investment product, or a settlement layer for third-party obligations. Treating it as any of those is prohibited.
2. Prohibited automation
You must not, and must not assist any other person to:
- Use any robot, bot, scraper, headless browser, automation framework, macro recorder, keystroke injector, mouse-jiggler, automated agent, or browser extension that interacts with the Platform on your behalf or with another User's behalf;
- Use any third-party "auto-cashout", "auto-bet", "trigger", "tracker", "crash predictor", "mines solver", or similar tool that automates inputs or scrapes outputs;
- Connect to any private socket, internal RPC, or undocumented endpoint we operate, or interact with the public surface in a way that exceeds documented rate limits;
- Use multiple devices, browser profiles, or sessions to multiply the throughput of a single human player.
We publish public read endpoints (OpenGraph, structured data, RSS, sitemap, /robots.txt, the verifier) that legitimate crawlers may access politely; nothing else is open to automated access.
3. One Account per natural person
Each natural person may hold exactly one Account. The following are per se breaches:
- Opening additional Accounts under different Steam IDs;
- Opening an Account on behalf of, with the assistance of, or for the benefit of another person;
- Using shared devices, shared IPs, shared payment methods, or shared crypto deposit addresses across multiple Accounts;
- Buying, selling, gifting, lending, renting, leasing, mortgaging, or otherwise transferring control of an Account;
- Family members operating multiple Accounts must contact [email protected] to declare the relationship in writing; undeclared family accounts that share devices, IPs, or wallets will be treated as multi-accounting.
4. Anti-collusion
Collusion between any two Accounts in head-to-head or cooperative game modes is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:
- Pre-arranged outcomes in Coinflip lobbies;
- Team-up rotation in Case Battles team modes designed to harvest a specific case's expected value across multiple wallets;
- Chat-coordinated bidding, sniping, or front-running;
- Coordinated entry into rains or promotions with the intent to dump rewards to a single beneficiary;
- Tip-laundering — cycling Coins or bonuses between Accounts to reset wagering, evade limits, or extract rewards.
5. Anti-arbitrage and anti-pass-through
You must not use the Platform as an arbitrage or pass-through layer between Skin markets, between Skin and crypto, between two blockchains, or between two wallets. Patterns we treat as pass-through include rapid deposit-then-withdraw activity with minimal gameplay, deposit-and-withdraw to a different settlement method or address than the deposit source without a plausible gambling purpose, and depositing illiquid Skins to harvest the deposit bonus before withdrawing in a different asset class.
6. Bonus, promotion and rakeback fair play
See the Bonus & Promotions Terms. In summary: bonuses must be wagered before withdrawal, may not be combined with collusion, multi-accounting, bonus-hunting service contracts, or zero-risk hedging across two Accounts, and may be voided where the pattern indicates exploitation.
7. Anti-fraud and anti-chargeback
You must not initiate a chargeback, ACH reversal, payment-network dispute, blockchain reorg-claim, or Steam trade-dispute against any deposit we honored. You must not fund the Platform with stolen, mis-appropriated, or third-party assets. Chargebacks forfeit both the disputed amount and any winnings flowing from it and are reported to the payment network, your bank, blockchain- analytics providers, Steam, and where appropriate law enforcement.
8. Anti-exploit
If you discover a bug, race condition, replay window, multiplier defect, paytable miscalculation, RTP defect, or any other defect in the Platform, you must:
- Stop using the defect immediately;
- Report the defect to [email protected] with sufficient detail to reproduce.
We operate a coordinated-disclosure program — in-scope reports made in good faith are eligible for recognition and may be eligible for a reward. Continued exploitation after discovery is an independent and uncurable breach: every Round resolved using the defect is voidable, the funds are forfeitable, and we reserve every legal and equitable remedy including referral for criminal prosecution under computer-misuse and wire-fraud statutes.
9. Sanctions and source-of-funds
You must not use the Platform to launder, layer, or integrate proceeds of crime; evade sanctions; hide the true owner of assets; or use us as a pass-through payment rail. We may ask reasonable questions about source of funds, wallet ownership, Steam account ownership, or payment-method ownership when activity creates a security, fraud, sanctions, or legal concern.
10. Chat, support and community conduct
You must not, on any of our chat, support, social-media, or peer-facing surface:
- Harass, threaten, dox, impersonate, or incite violence against any person;
- Post or solicit child sexual abuse material, gore, terrorism content, or content unlawful in your jurisdiction or ours;
- Advertise competing gambling services, scams, account-buying services, or other Users' off-platform deals;
- Use slurs, sustained hate speech, or coordinated brigading;
- Impersonate staff or imply endorsement that does not exist;
- Spam, flood, or otherwise disrupt chat for other users.
Moderation decisions are at the discretion of our staff. Repeat or egregious offenses forfeit chat access permanently.
11. Security and integrity
You must not:
- Probe, scan, fingerprint, or attempt to break any control of the Platform other than under a written authorization from us;
- Interfere with, overload, or degrade the Platform, including by denial-of-service, slow-loris, or other attack;
- Submit content designed to bypass moderation, escape sanitization, exploit downstream consumers, or interact with our staff terminals.
12. Enforcement and remedies
Breach of this AUP entitles us to apply any combination of the remedies set out in Section 14 of the Terms of Service, including suspension, closure, void of Rounds, claw-back of bonus and winnings, freezing of balance, and forfeiture of the balance to the extent of the harm caused. Forfeiture is liquidated damages for breach and is not a penalty. The reasonableness of any forfeiture is judged on the gravity of the breach, the harm to the Platform and other Users, and the extent of unjust enrichment.
13. Reporting abuse
Report any abuse you witness on the Platform to [email protected] with as much detail as possible. We take reports seriously and act on them without identifying you, except where the law obliges us otherwise.
